Synopsis
In the distant future, after a planetary cataclysm that left humanity in deep despair, a glimmer of hope emerged. Scientists discover a new planet that could become a home for human civilization. Preserving the human gene pool becomes a cornerstone of the World Earth Alliance (EWA), which, during one of its final meetings, decides to partially evacuate Earth by constructing six interstellar space stations.
After only the first two stations manage to leave Earth, scientists continue studying the distant exoplanet, encountering puzzling research results. As cryobiologist Zara Espen and astrophysicist Gaag Zorb seek to understand this new celestial body, they face an internecine struggle between the government and powerful corporations over control of the lunar territories that produce the stations’ fuel – dydrogen. An already fragile event horizon is further destabilized when the delicate balance between scientific research and political experimentation is disrupted by a single prehistoric word, whose meaning may hold the key to the future of Earthling resettlement.
